Art Exhibit - David Frederick @ ESAC
The next featured artist at the East Side Arts Council’s gallery opening is David Frederick.
David is an East Side resident who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and has not previously shown his work in a gallery, and ESAC is very excited to have him show his paintings. David got his start as an industrial display designer and moved on to work in visual merchandising at Donaldson’s. After his children were grown, he found the time to paint again. As a painter, he was influenced by artists like Salvador Dali and surrealism, as well as by the symbolism movement in painting. Currently he is aspiring to paint simple portraits with design backgrounds.
The night of October 22 is the opening for David’s exhibit. Join us for snacks and the opportunity to visit with other artists from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the East Side Arts Council office at 977 Payne Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55130.
