Global Passport: Afro-Brazilian Percussion and Rhythm

Ticket to Brasil will lead kids in a workshop exploring diverse Afro-Brazilian rhythms and percussion instruments. Musicians demonstrate the influences and connections between Afro-Brazilian music and some contemporary musical styles in the United States and around the world.

Saint Paul Public Library’s Global Passport series presents free cultural programs for kids grades three to six. Pick up an event postcard at your library and bring it to each program to get stamped. Just like a passport! Supported by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
