Kadet Workshop - Robotics!!! Feb.24th, 2017
After a long wait, the Kadet Program Workshops are back! Join the Kadet Program of the Kitty Andersen Youth Science Center!
We are looking for eager teens who are inspired to learn about how the world of robotics coincides with the present and the future of mankind! Its not every day that we think about how robots have helped to shape our present, but it is something that a lot of people think about when we start to talk about the future, even currently we have seen how advance the field of robotics has become every year, but the demand for more people in that field is ever growing! We will take a look at that, how "robots" get a bad rep and why, get hands on with some coding and robotics activities, and of course so deep thinking!
We will be providing light refreshments, and engaging in additional actives as well! Please feel free to tell a friend or two about this workshop and pass around this link!
Space for this workshop will be limited to the first 20 to sign up, so please make sure to fill out every part of this form! RSVP: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1IfrAmTMa7PPQkPuX7Z3ESxr6nXcRyxYiux0mY3JbRBI-xA/viewform AND THIS IS NEW: We would like to have all our Kadet Members that are consistently coming and are dedicated to the program to sign up with the museum as a legitimate volunteer! - https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=1556724859 When you get down to the bottom, where it says " In your own words, why are you interested in volunteering at the Science Museum of Minnesota?" If you can please just mention the KAYSC - Kadet Program, so that we can get you set up with us and can track your volunteer hours!
Please feel free to reach back out to me if you have any questions! Best~ Mark Olivares
