KAYSC - Bits to Bites Community Learning Day and Final Celebration
We here at the KAYSC would like to personally invite any and all to our Bits to Bites Community Learning Day and Final Celebration next week, Friday, June 30 starting at 5:30 pm with a VIP reception only for our partners, youth and families in the Argon room on Level 6. This is the culmination of 3 years of incredible computational thinking & food justice work done by the KAYSCS Bits 2 Bites and Climate Change crew, and we are so excited to show you all what we have learned, achieved and created - including food grown and cooked by B2B youth. From 3:30pm to 4:30pm we'll be hosting a Youth Workshop for youth ages 11-18 to join us for an interactive workshop, where they will explore computer programming to address food justice issues. Specifically, we be playing with Ozobots, robots you program by drawing) If you know any youth (ages 11-18 yrs old) who would be interested in this FREE workshop, please invite them and rsvp @ tinyurl.com/B2BWorkshop . RSVP ASAP, there's limited seating. After the reception, the crews will do a small presentation of their work and showcase activities at a public event in our Big Backyard on Level 1 from 6-7:30.
