Open Mic/ Clothing Drive/ Mural Unveiling

With respect to the looming possibility that the world will no longer exist on December 21st, we will be celebrating like there like there is no tomorrow.

Starting at 5PM the Saint Paul Youth Commission will will be bringing in resources to learn about youth homelessness. There will be free food and a winter wear donation drive. So please bring hats, mittens, scarves and socks to donate to StreetWorks.

At 5PM the Canvas will also be unveiling a BRAND NEW mural in the art room. The contributing artists will be present to show off their work.

From 6:00-8:00 the Canvas will host the monthly Speak On It: Teen Open Mic. Given the theme any songs, poems, jokes, etc that speak to the possibility of the world ending - things you love, hate, or admire currently, or your hopes and dreams for the future - It will be great to have as many poets, rappers, singers and spectators as possible.
