This survey is a first of its kind study that seeks to understand the experiences of and pathways into the youth fields workforce. We want to know more about those who are still in the youth fields and those who left, so that we can explore, define, and elevate this collective workforce and your work with youth.

While this is a national survey, we are working closely with our partners at The American Institutes for Research (AIR), to get our localized data that will help to inform policy, practice, and further research to better support our local OST workforce.

Who should take the survey? Youth workers, afterschool program staff, tutors, volunteers, summer camp counselors, sports coaches, faith based groups...; anyone who works with (or has worked with) youth in any capacity outside of the regular school day.

Monthly Drawing. If you complete the survey, AIR will enter you into a monthly drawing for a $100 Amazon gift code (10 winners per month. Names stay in for monthly drawing through December).

Taking the Survey. The survey will take between 10-20 minutes to complete. Please plan on completing the entire survey in one sitting because your responses may not be saved if you leave the survey and return later.
