Black Teen Health Summer Program

The Radical Healing Creatives is a Black Teen Music Video Project to promote health, justice and healing. It is an 8 week paid program for five to eight 13-18 year olds in the Rondo community that involves 1) weekly health & healing education sessions and 2) engaging in the arts through developing a music video project related to educational topics that you learn throughout the program.

Dates: Tuesdays 6-9pm from July 2nd-August 20th

Location: Sterling Club - 300 St. Albans St. N

The first 90 minutes will cover a health and healing topic & the second half you will have 'Creativity Café' time to split into 1) Dancers 2) Vocalists and 3) Tech teams to work on the music video. The purpose of this program is to be educational, healing and most importantly FUN! After you complete the short app here, I will contact y'all to do 1-1's for us to meet, check in, share expectations and what you would like to get from & learn in this summer experience. About the Facilitator: Ayomide is a 25 year old artist from North Carolina, currently attending medical school in Minneapolis and organizer of the Radical Healing Creatives summer program at the Sterling Club in Rondo St Paul!
